Stolen Voices is dedicated to free the innocent, prevent wrongful convictions before they happen and work to create a fair, compassionate, and equitable system of justice for everyone.
Founded by veteran true crime producer and Criminal Justice Reform advocate Lori Rothschild Ansaldi,
Stolen Voices is an independent nonprofit based in Los Angeles CA.
Rothschild started her work in CJR after stumbling onto the story of Kevin Keith, who was wrongfully convicted of a triple homicide in Bucyrus, Ohio in 1994. For over 6 years, she worked tirelessly to bring Kevin's story to the masses. In 2018, she partnered with media mogul Kim Kardashian and in 2022, the women Co-Executive Produced The System podcast for Spotify. That case is currently in front of the Governor of Ohio, requesting clemency for Mr. Keith who has lost almost 30 years of his life for a crime he did not commit.
Rothschild now advocates for dozens of wrongly convicted individuals across the country. She also works with several other advocacy groups who share the same vision for a restructured system that promotes fairness and rehabilitation.
